Mentorship Programs
“Talent will get you through the door. Character will keep you in the room.”
— MARVIN McQUITTY
Mentorship is about more than mastering the drums—it’s about shaping confident, well-rounded young leaders. Through one-on-one guidance and professional music industry insight, we help aspiring drummers grow their skill, character, and vision.
Every lesson is designed to honor Marvin’s dream to impart the importance of excellence, humility, and heart to the next generation — on and off the drum set.

The Heart of Drumming
The Business of Music
Making of a Minstrel
The Heart of Drumming teaches the character and mindset a drummer should carry with them, even when they are not drumming.
Here, mentees will learn that they are more than than their talents from Marvin’s closest friends and those that mentored Marvin directly.
Marvin always taught “Talent will get you through the door, but character will keep you in the room.”
This mentorship, guides children on how to not only honor God with their talents, but how to honor others.
The Business of Music uncovers the ambiguity that a drummer may encounter in the music business.
For too long, musicians have been given opportunities in large scale markets, but have either been misinformed or left in the dark about best business practices usually to their detriment.
Mentored by professionals in the industry for 20+ years, The Business of Music is here to prepare and align talent with the basics of the music business and what could be expected with wide scale recognition.
Making of a Minstrel is a mentorship program that pairs children with mentors that share how to honor God when they are behind their instrument.
Here, mentees will walk away enlightened and empowered about their purpose and the gift of worshiping God as a musician, while understanding their identity in Christ.
