The Mentorship

“Your talent will get you through the door, but your character will keep you in the room.”

— MARVIN McQUITTY

The Mentorship nurtures the talents of emerging drummers by inspiring them to walk in purpose - on and off the drum set.

Through six bi-weekly, 1:1 sessions, we offer faith-based guidance to help aspiring musicians (ages 8-18) grow in their character, confidence and conduct in music-industry specific scenarios.

Every lesson is designed to honor Marvin’s dream to impart the importance of excellence, humility, and the heart of God to the next generation.

The Business of Music uncovers the ambiguity that a drummer may encounter in the music business.

For too long, musicians have been given opportunities in large scale markets, but have either been misinformed or left in the dark about best business practices usually to their detriment.

Mentored by professionals in the industry for 20+ years, The Business of Music is here to prepare and align talent with the basics of the music business and what could be expected with wide scale recognition.
